Very me: I hated sorting folders, so I automated it. dir_analyzer.py scans a workspace and writes a compact, token-aliased map (not JSON, not a Unicode tree) with the instructions for the AI built in. It skips dependency folders like node_modules, .next and .dart_tool, and anything with a project marker (package.json, pubspec.yaml, manage.py, .git) is tagged as a locked project so it is never split apart.
Paste the map into Claude or Gemini, paste the JSON layout it returns into dir_transform.py, and run it: target folders are created, files are moved with collision avoidance, and only legacy folders that are completely empty get removed. The tool’s own files are excluded from the move.
