Stage one is PaddleOCR, which reads the receipt. Stage two is Zephyr-7B, an open-weight LLM, prompted to turn that text into structured JSON.
It is zero-shot on purpose: no fine-tuning, just a question of how far OCR plus a small open model can go before you need a big API model. It is the open-weight sibling of Invoice Intelligence.
